Tuesday, November 7 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM | 105 « Back

Abstract Text:

Arc (arcskoru.com) is a powerful, integrated platform for transformational change in the built environment that supports the missions of USGBC and GBCI. Join leaders of Arc and USGBC at this interactive workshop to learn about how Arc can help score your community’s performance, compare it to peers, track and report progress across metrics that matter to your community, and pursue LEED certification. You will get a deep dive into the platform’s performance score methodology and the parameters that Arc uses to compare communities worldwide. For places that want to achieve third-party verification of their achievements, this workshop will describe the requirements of the pilot LEED for Cities and LEED for Communities rating systems. See how Arc connects to other tools and frameworks that promote sustainability, health, resilience, and quality of life in global communities. Access the platform live and complete exercises to further your understanding. The workshop is for representatives from city, county, and other local governments, business improvement districts, neighborhood associations, sustainability consultants, urban planners, foundations, citizens and others interested in how technology, big data, and certification can drive improvements in your community.
