Abstract Text:

Join your fellow USGBC community members and stakeholders to develop a work plan for your USGBC Community region to focus on addressing the topic area determined to be the region’s highest priority. The four topic areas of Resiliency, Health, New Technologies, and Equitable Development have all been identified as important, but each region’s needs are different. This afternoon work session will allow neighbors and colleagues to collaborate on a work plan for their region for the coming year. Experts on each of the topical areas will be available to answer questions and USGBC Regional Directors will facilitate each table.

Learning Objectives:

Summarize the four topic areas of Resiliency, Health, New Technologies, and Equitable Development and related issues within the context of your regional community

Draft high-level goals and an action statement to advance work on this topic in your region.

Identify partners, players and stakeholders necessary to advance community sustainability.

Define desired outcomes and success metrics for your plan.
