Abstract Text:

EDGE is a green building certification system focused on making buildings in emerging market countries more resource efficient. An innovation of IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, EDGE is a fast and easy to use mass market transformation tool. It empowers developers and builders to quickly identify the most cost effective ways to reduce energy use, water use, and embodied energy in materials. Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) administers EDGE certification in over 120 countries around the world.

This workshop helps EDGE Auditor candidates learn how to complete design and site audits and prepare for their role as EDGE Auditors.

IMPORTANT: This workshop is for approved EDGE Auditor applicants only. Apply at https://edge.gbci.org/auditors and find a description of the Auditor role, eligibility requirements, and the process to become an EDGE Auditor on the same webpage. Completion of the EDGE Technical Workshop (LD06) is a prerequisite for this workshop. EDGE Auditors may provide services in any country where GBCI administers EDGE certification. This list may be updated over time.
