Join us for a tour of three offices that are both WELL and LEED certified in Atlanta, all focused on sustainability and employee wellbeing. Attendees will learn more about each organization’s unique approach and how it’s working “WELL” today. Interface sets audacious goals—from carbon negative products to designing buildings to conserve key resources of regional ecology. Their new global headquarters in Midtown Atlanta is called Base Camp - a reflection of the organization’s climb to the summit of sustainability and beyond. The entire project’s design focuses on sustainability and employee wellbeing, including its high-performance building systems and work-choice planning. Base Camp anticipates LEED v4 Platinum and WELL Gold certification. Holder Construction’s 3-story, 53,000 SF Atlanta headquarters is perched on the edge of city and forest. During design, deep focus was placed on maximized daylight and views, interior lighting design, healthy materials, and overall occupant comfort to achieve WELL Silver and LEED Platinum. Cushman & Wakefield Atlanta’s 2-story, 35,000 SF space also achieved both WELL Silver and LEED certifications. The project team prioritized a focus on air and water quality, healthy food options, custom art installations, and thermal and acoustic comfort by via variety of workspaces and enhanced occupant control.
