New construction, rehabbing or repurposing? No matter what the age of the building, Green Technologies can always be implemented. Tour attendees will visit the Center on Halsted, Institute for Cultural Affair’s (ICA) Greenrise Historic Renovation and the Evanston History Center.

Learning Objectives:

Discuss how community, client and historic needs are factored into play when integrating green building design.

Describe greywater system integration, use and maintenance within the City of Chicago.

Assess the complexities associated with a deep-green renovation completed through multiple phases of design and construction.

Illustrate the energy efficient systems installed in a historic building setting and the process used for the system and design installation.
