Mark R. Seibert, PE, LEED AP, is managing partner of CMTA’s Texas Office. Mr. Seibert is a licensed professional engineer. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering. Mark joined CMTA in July 1992 and became a partner in 1998. In 2009, he accepted the challenge of opening a new CMTA office in Houston, Texas and has been instrumental in helping Texas school districts reduce their energy use. Mr. Seibert has been an integral part of CMTA’s focus on sustainable design. He designed high performance HVAC systems for many of CMTA’s high performance schools and led the HVAC design for Richardsville Elementary, CMTA’s first Net Zero Energy Public School. Many new and renovated schools now have reduced energy costs due to Mr. Seibert’s extensive knowledge of energy efficient HVAC systems. As the Principal-in-Charge, he coordinates with the Owners, the Architects and the CMTA Design Team to meet the expectations of each project. He ensures that energy efficient design principles are incorporated into the MEP systems.
