Geoff Brock has been working in commercial-scale Construction Management for 12 years. From field supervision to project management to corporate sustainability, he's tackled construction waste management from various angles. Geoff started at Lendlease in New York City working on residential highrises, before assuming a dedicated sustainability role for the New York portfolio and subsequently the Americas region. In that role he worked with project teams within the context of broader industry efforts, collaborating with networks such as Building Product Ecosystem to support multi-stakeholder initiatives. He also managed the monthly collection and analysis of Energy, Water and Waste data for an ongoing portfolio of around 50 active Construction projects in the Americas region. Experiencing firsthand the challenges of extracting meaningful trends from aggregate data, he developed standards and protocols to improve the consistency and transparency of waste managenment reporting for the region. After almost a decade in New York, Geoff moved back to his hometown of Philadelphia and returned to the project side working as a Superintendent for Structure Tone. Geoff and his wife Jessika have three children, Maxwell, Madeleine and Miles. Together they generate about .5 cubic yards of waste per month.
