David joined USGBC in May 2011. David works on the technical program development team building the Arc platform. Arc is a state of the art platform to help you collect, manage and benchmark your data to improve sustainability performance. With Arc, LEED-certified buildings can benchmark against themselves and other similar buildings locally and globally. Spaces without certification can use Arc to make improvements in sustainability and human health and take steps toward earning LEED certification. You can learn more at https://www.arcskoru.com David’s past work focused on the environmental attributes of building materials and products. He worked to increase the utility and consistency of environmental product declarations and focused on life cycle assessments of building products and whole buildings. He also developed numerous case studies used in Education@USGBC and on www.usgbc.org. Before moving into the sustainability field, David worked for over 10 years in the education field at the elementary and middle school levels. David received his BA from Drew University in 2006 and his MS in Environmental Science and Policy from Johns Hopkins University in 2012.
