Jon Penndorf, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C, RELi AP, is a sustainability leader and senior project manager for the DC office of Perkins+Will, and has worked on a wide variety of project types and sizes. A licensed architect in Washington DC and Virginia, he recently contributed to the Washington DC Climate Adaptation Plan, and has led resilience workshops for healthcare campuses and new construction projects. He serves on the firm-wide Resilience Task Force as well as consults internally on sustainability and LEED documentation for education and institutional projects. Jon is a member of the AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) National Advisory Group, and represents the Mid-Atlantic on the AIA Strategic Council. In 2015 he co-authored "Weathering the Storm: Mental Health and Resilient Design," a paper that was included in the annual Perkins+Will Research Journal. He has recently spoken on the integration of resilience and human health at NeoCon and the ASID/IDC Impact Summit.
