Emma joined MIT in 2016 in a new position focused on Sustainable Design and Construction on campus. Her role is shared among the Office of Sustainability, the Office of Campus Planning and the Department of Campus Construction, and is designed to promote interdepartmental collaboration in support of campus sustainability goals and initiatives. Emma is a licensed architect in Massachusetts with 10 years of professional experience managing the design and execution of large scale high-performance buildings. Emma is the Chairperson of the USGBC MA Advocacy Committee and a member of the CREW Boston Sustainability Networking Group. She holds a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Energy and Environmental Sustainability from Boston University and a Bachelors of Architecture from Syracuse University.
