Bob is the Senior Vice President of Facilities and Support Services at Boston Medical Center and has been there since 2011. He directly oversees Facilities, Support Services, Public Safety, Infrastructure and Design/Construction. Within this role he is working to help make Boston Medical Center the greenest hospital in all of New England. He was the architect of the $300 million Campus Redesign project for BMC. This, coupled with the Solar Power Purchase agreement, has BMC on pace to be net zero for greenhouse gas emissions by 2020. During his time at Boston Medical he was awarded the Norman B Leventhal Environment Award for Excellence in City Building. Also due to his leadership the hospital was awarded the 2014 Energy Project of the Year Award by the National Association of Energy Engineers, New England Chapter.
